James Anderson Becomes First Fast Bowler To Take 600 Test Wicket
James Anderson has become the first pace bowler in history to reach 600 Test wickets, removing Pakistan captain Azhar Ali on the final evening of the third Test.
James Anderson has now become the fourth-highest wicket-taker in the longest format of the game, only behind Muttiah Muralitharan, Shane Warne and Anil Kumble.
Anderson achieved the historic feat in his 156th Test match after 17 years of an international career. He had taken his first wicket while making a Test debut against Zimbabwe at Lord’s in London in 2003.
